Promoting education among marginalized communities in Impiron, Kenya
Goshen Springs is an institution created by Moses Buli, with help from donors, to help a total of 150 pupils from the local community get proper primary school education. We believe that education is key to the success of our pupils. We believe that education plays an important role in empowering our kids to think critically, make discrete decisions and become the leaders of tomorrow.
BRIEF HISTORY
Due to a financial hurdle, the Headmaster of Joy Geomar Primary school, the only primary school at Impiron, decided to discontinue the school (2019). The closure of Joy Geomar led to the displacement of 150 pupils who could no longer attend school. Moses Buli, the sole proprietor of Kilimanjaro Resort, decided to start Goshen Springs, a new primary school created to accommodate the displaced students. Goshen Springs is currently under development and we are currently seeking all the help that we could possibly find in order to fully develop the school.
PROJECTS
We are finalizing on building the classes and the staffroom and We look forward to working on many exciting projects meant to enable our pupils to have fun outside the classroom. For example, we would like to start a book club/library, a board game club, a soccer club and a computer laboratory. We hope to implement these plans once we have the adequate funding.

BOARD GAME CLUB
By forming a Chess Club and Checkers Club, we hope to help our pupils discover new hobbies and interests, as well as jog their memory and improve their learning ability.
COMPUTER LABORATORY
With help from donor funding, we hope to build a well equipped computer lab in order to acquaint pupils with basic computer skills before transitioning to high school.
OUTDOORS CLUB
We look forward to launching a soccer club and a basketball club to enable our pupils to engage in sports outside class. With help from donors, we hope to acquire the sports equipment and gaming kits required in order to fully implement the project.
LIBRARY
We are excited to build a well equipped library and launch a book club. We have already reached out to bookstores requesting books on diverse topics. The book club is intended to help pupils improve their reading skills and nurture their reading ability at an early age.
